Current measures in the Montafon for the winter season 20/21
It is well known that anticipation is the greatest joy. This also applies to vacation planning. But with a view to the coming winter, many guests understandably feel a bit of uncertainty. We in the Montafon do everything we can to guarantee you a safe winter holiday with us. Here you can find out more about the planned safety measures for the 2020/21 winter season.
The Montafon has a lot to offer in the cold season!
For skiers and snowboarders anyway – in 5 ski areas there are 235 kilometers of slopes and countless ski touring routes in the open terrain.
Off-piste, however, all winter fans will definitely get their money’s worth: be it with a tobogganing fun (during the day or night tobogganing), a cross-country skiing session over 2000m or endless walks on idyllic winter hiking trails on the mountain or in the valley …
The valley station of the Valisera and Grasjochbahn – your connection to the “Silvretta Montafon”, the largest ski area in Vorarlberg – are only a few minutes ‘drive and a few minutes’ walk from our house. In good snow conditions you can ski down to the valley station directly under our house.
The Gargellen ski area can be reached in 20 minutes by car, as is the valley station of the Vermuntbahn – for excursions to the Bielerhöhe. The family ski mountain Golm and the small, fine area on the Kirstberg can be reached in 20-30 minutes.
The main town of Schruns is 7km away (every 15 minutes by bus in winter), where you will find the train station, a pharmacy and many shops.
